07 season news:

Well here we are waiting for it to rain again. The 07 season seemed to get off to a good start with average rainfalls (at least for the Adelaide Hills anyway) but at the beginning of Sept. we seem to be in the same dry basket as the rest of the country. Good deep subsoil moisture plays a big part in fruit quality and bit more rain between now and November will help us sleep.

Farmers always whinge about the weather, and we said much the same thing last year, however although the quantity was down our fruit when crushed has rewarded us handsomely with an intenseness that will perhaps rank 07 as a classic year. Keep your eye on the bouncing bottle!
